At Bloom, we believe learning drums should feel empowering—joyful, physical, and full of grooves that make playing irresistible. Whether you’re sitting behind a kit for the first time or finally diving into a dream you’ve had for years, we meet you with enthusiasm and zero pressure.
Our energetic teachers make each lesson dynamic and fun while helping you build the solid fundamentals drummers rely on for life—groove, technique, creativity, and the confidence to play in bands or jam with friends long after lessons end.
And with Bloom’s learning system, Musician Quest, you'll work toward real drumming milestones, earning recognition as your skills, timing, and musicality grow. It keeps your progress clear, motivating, and always worth celebrating.
So grab your sticks. Your drumming journey starts here.
For 1 to 6 years olds we recommend group music classes. Click here for more info.
We know that when kids can connect with an instrument, they’ll stick with it! This connection happens when students have the freedom to find their own musical identity. We give them the encouragement to express themselves through the music they love. Technique, theory and musicianship are all taught through this lens. Students at Bloom are also encouraged to compose and write their own songs, even as beginners. Finding that all important “show off” piece is important too!
Our amazing drum teachers will inspire, motivate and build confidence. This ensures students love coming to their drum lessons every week! We want to create a connection to music that will last a lifetime!
Your teacher will start out by getting to know you and your goals. What’s important to you and how you learn best. The better your teacher understands you, the more fun you’ll have learning to play your favorite music.
During your first drum lesson, your teacher will likely recommend appropriate lesson and method books. For beginners, it may be a few weeks before they add a method book.
If you have questions about what to look for before purchasing an instrument, give us a shout and we’ll help!
PLEASE NOTE: Masks are currently optional for all indoor classes at Bloom.
No worries! If you need to miss, your teacher will create a personalized video lesson during your scheduled time. We use LessonMate, software developed by Bloom.
Consistency is so important. With LessonMate video lessons we keep everyone engaged and informed even when they miss!

"I've been at this place for a year. The instructors are amazing. I've learned so much here and I thank god they accommodate my needs when it comes to music. The owners really care about what the students learn and the experience that the students get." - David D.
