In Music Friends, 3 and 4 year olds sing on pitch, echo rhythms, and improvise through storytelling and dramatic play — building creativity, audiation, and the social skills that come from making music together.
In Pick An Instrument, 4 to 6 year olds explore guitar and keyboard, read notation, compose, and perform — developing real skills while it still feels like play. By the time they're ready for private lessons, they'll be confident, excited, and know exactly which instrument is theirs.

Our classes follow the Orff Schulwerk approach — a developmentally based method built on a simple truth about young children: they learn music the same way they learn language. Not by studying it first, but by doing it. Singing, moving, playing, and improvising, long before anyone talks about a note on a page.
Every class meets kids exactly where they are developmentally — never pushing a three-year-old toward a five-year-old's skill, never holding a five-year-old back. Musical concepts arrive through play, then get named later, once the body already knows them.
Why we care so much about this: because it makes the eventual private lesson experience dramatically easier. A child who already feels rhythm in their body, matches pitch with their voice, and isn't afraid to try in front of a teacher walks into their first lesson with a huge head start. Less frustration.
